An IP Address is a unique identifier that allows your server or device to communicate on a network. It enables public access to your applications and secure internal connectivity between your cloud resources — essential for hosting websites, APIs, and managing remote access.

Frequently asked questions

GCX Kcloud takes Snapshots of your Instances or Block Storage volumes, capturing a complete point-in-time image. Snapshots are created on primary storage, then immediately moved to secondary storage to free up space.
Yes. Once a snapshot is created, it is automatically transferred to isolated secondary storage and removed from primary storage — ensuring your backup remains safe and accessible even if your primary volume has an issue.
Yes. GCX Kcloud supports recurring snapshot policies — hourly, daily, or weekly. A snapshot is automatically skipped if the volume has been inactive since the last backup, avoiding unnecessary storage usage.
Since GCX Kcloud is hosted locally in Cambodia, data restoration is significantly faster than restoring from overseas cloud providers. You can restore a full Instance or volume in minutes, minimizing business downtime.
No hard limit. You define your own retention policy — for example, keeping the last 7 daily snapshots. You only pay for the total storage your snapshots consume, giving you flexible and predictable cost control.
A Snapshot is a point-in-time disk state stored in secondary storage until manually deleted. A Backup is a longer-term recovery copy for disaster recovery. GCX Kcloud lets you manage both from a single dashboard with full restore capability.
